The Green Room
The Green Room is part of our family home, with a comfortable double bed, adjoining wetroom and kitchenette, in a convenient town location with easy access to railway and bus links, and its own off-road parking. With fast internet access and an HD television with a full Sky package including Sports and Cinema, and your own key and separate door you can come and go as you please. Well behaved dogs are welcome. The Green Room has a double bed, adjoining wetroom and kitchenette (kettle, toaster and microwave), in a convenient town location with easy access to railway and bus links, and off-road parking. Whether you are walking the Wales Coast Path, Glyndwrs Way, or just to the pub, stop a while and stay with us, have a lovely warm shower in the wet room and then relax in one of our comfy chairs and enjoy the HD television with Sky Cinema and Sport. The outside courtyard is secured with fence and gates to keep your canine companion happy if you choose to bring one. You can come and go as you please through your own private entrance (with key), and enjoy the courtyard in front of The Green Room with table and benches for relaxing. With your own entrance, kitchenette and wet room you can be as private as you wish to be. Tim or I will try to be available at check in if you like, or we can arrange for the key to be in an accessible location. We both work and the children have school and various activities: it would be lovely to meet you and have a chat if we get get the chance ; ) Ffordd Mynydd Griffiths is a quiet road of detached houses situated above the town, very near Machynlleth Railway Station (Shrewsbury-Aberystwyth line) and bus depot, and within five minutes walk of the famous clock tower, three supermarkets, many cafes, restaurants and pubs, MOMA Wales, the Plas and the Tabernacle. Machynlleth Station (Shrewsbury-Aberystwyth line) is three minutes walk from The Green Room; the bus station is one minute more. There are local mountain bike trails and lots of beautiful walks. Sandy beaches at Aberdyfi or Borth are 20 minutes by road, 30 minutes by rail. Cadair Idris and Southern Snowdonia is 15 minutes to the north. Private off-road parking is at the top of the drive.
