This is a perfect spot for social distancing with a delightful second floor suite, a private bath and a private entrance from a patio deck. This is well suited for those wanting to experience a rich Lancaster County trip, while hosted in the home of Mennonites. Located in the heart of Lancaster's Amish country, nestled between Bird in Hand & Intercourse, we are surrounded by Amish neighbors and farmlands! Feel free to discover the lush grounds and gardens of this sequestered suite. This is a beautiful room in the middle of Amish country! The Elijah room was an apartment added above our garage to serve the many tourists & friends that travel through Lancaster County. It has it's own private entrance, private bath, bedroom/living room area, and private balcony. You will not need to enter our personal quarters at all. We seek to maintain your privacy, although it is attached to our house. We are located directly in between the delightful towns of Intercourse & Bird-in-Hand. With Amish buggies rolling past every few minutes, this is the perfect abode for your Lancaster experience! Well apportioned trees and bushes provide a haven for countless songbirds, and butterflies for your enjoyment and entertainment. Guests will have full access to the patio, bathroom, living room-bedroom area. It is all the private space of the guest. We love to meet our guests! We have lived here for the past 30 years, and would love to recommend to you the best local eateries and 'tourist traps' :) Set in rural Lancaster County, surrounded by Amish farmland on three sides and set among the peach and apple orchards on the other, this is a place to refresh and refuel, and still located only 1/4 mile from the Old Philadelphia Pike (State Route 340). You will enjoy stunning sunrises from the private patio, with a view of several miles to the East and South. During your stay, you will park behind our house- in front of the third garage door. There is no TV in the room. But there is wifi.
