Springer Lodge (Valley Lodge 12)

The ground floor consists of 1 Double en-suite bedroom, 1 Family room (1 double 1 single bed), 1 twin room, a Jack-and-Jill style bathroom and a shower room. The double bedroom leads out onto the lower patio area. Upstairs, there's a well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, a dining area, living room with freeview TV and DVD player, and an outdoor balcony area looking out towards the woods. There's also an upstairs stairgate and a highchair for the little ones. Bed linen and towels are provided. Free Wi-Fi and free access to the on-site facilities (Gym, pools and games room) is also provided for all guests. We welcome two well-behaved dogs, although please bring suitable bedding for your pets as they are not permitted on the furniture or bedding. Free Wi-Fi and free access to the on-site facilities (Gym, pools and games room) is also provided for all guests. We welcome two well-behaved dogs at 12 Valley Lodge. Guests rent the entire lodge during their stay. Facilities including the swimming pools, fitness and games suite are communal areas and are subject to opening times. We're not on site, but please feel free to contact us with any questions or queries before or during your stay. Should any problems arise during your stay, our local housekeeper will be on hand to assist. There's plenty to do on or around the site. While on site, guests can enjoy the Bar & Restaurant, two heated swimming pools, tennis courts, fitness suite and games room. The Honicombe Arms Bar welcomes all ages, and serves a selection of local drinks and a range of tasty food. The indoor swimming pool is open all year round. An outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace is available during the summer season. The games room has a table-tennis table and pool table. The fitness suite has a range of facilities for keeping active. Access to all of these is included for all guests of 12 Valley Lodge. There is a shop in the main reception selling all the essentials. If you're feeling like venturing off the park, there's a donkey park with indoor soft play only a 5 minute walk away. There's also plenty of public footpaths if you're feeling a stroll through the Cornish countryside. The nearest bus stop is situated opposite the main entrance to the park. Bus routes run in both directions, towards Callington or towards the pleasant villages/towns of Calstock and Tavistock. For those that would like to venture further afield, you can catch a train from Gunnislake (accesible by bus or 40 minute walk) along the scenic Tamar Valley Line towards Plymouth. There are also plenty of walking routes around the site. ** COVID-19 UPDATE ** We are open for bookings, however there are a few points to note: - Please only travel in line with the current government guidelines at the time of your stay. - The indoor swimming pool is now open and available to guests, however this will need to be booked with the site reception in person. 45 minute slots can be booked. - The on-site bar will remain open. We do ask all guests to follow the safety and social distancing guidelines while on site for their safety and safety of others. - The earliest check in time is 16:00 and checkout must be by 10:00 on the day of departure. Our housekeeping team are performing extensive cleaning and sanitisation between stays, and as such as cannot allow early check-ins or late departures. - We can only accomodate up to six people from different households. Groups of 7 must all be from the same household, in line with the latest government restrictions "rule of 6". We apologise but unfortunately due to site regulations, we cannot accept any bookings for work or business use.
