Open plan main social kitchen and lounge space ideal for family or group gatherings and socialising. Bifold doors from the kitchen open onto the patio and bbq area allow for outside social eating and socialising. Wood burning stove in the main kitchen and lounge area available for use for a snug night in. I am happy to be as available as required or equally to leave you to it! A quiet and friendly village with a nearby and very convenient village shop and deli that serve delicious homemade takeaway pizza's on a Friday and Saturday night. Several nearby pubs that serve good pub food and only 1.5 miles from the nearest town (Bridgend) for all main amenities such as banks, train and bus stations and supermarkets. Just 6 miles to Cowbridge town where there are many lovely coffee shops, wine bars, shops and restaurants. Ewenny's main Historical attraction is Ewenny Priory about a 15 / 20 min walk from the house. Nearby Ogmore Castle and the quaint village of Merthyr Mawr are also just a few miles away. There are plenty of lovely countryside and coastal walks with lovely hidden, off road public footpaths. There is local public bus transport including a coastal bus and also from Bridgend easy train and bus transport to Cardiff and Swansea (Approx 25 mins). Southerndown Golf club is just 2 miles away, with horse riding hire and other coastal activities available such as surf lessons and boat trips (from Porthcawl 7 miles away)
