Our charming spacious home is a hidden gem in the heart of Pyrmont, a trendy area that has everything you need to enjoy your time in Sydney. It is so close to the CBD, Darling Harbour, Fish Markets and the Star Casino whether you walk, catch a bus, a ferry or the light rail. Once inside you will be surprised by all it has to offer. Surrounded by luxury from the moment you wake up, you will find it hard to leave. Free offsite parking is available. Enquire when booking. The house is perfect for up to 8 people. Entry is through the front door into our hallway and an open plan living area. It comprises of a sitting room/ library, separate dining area, fully equipped modern kitchen and a large entertainment room with 65" Smart TV. Large sliding glass doors lead onto a private outdoor terrace with BBQ plus table and chairs. A staircase from the hall leads to Level 2 which has 3 bedrooms, two with queen size beds and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. All have built in wardrobes. The master bedroom is at the rear of this level and looks out on a vista of trees with a glimpse of the Anzac Bridge. It has a glamorous ensuite with double shower. Bedrooms 2 & 3 bedrooms have access to a very large main bathroom which contains both a bath and shower. Bedroom 3 (at the front of Level 2_ opens onto a narrow covered outdoor balcony which overlooks the street and is a great place to enjoy breakfast in the sun. Level 3 is an open plan room with a quality double sofa bed and built-in wardrobe. It has a separate bathroom (shower & toilet) and enjoys the same leafy outlook as the master bedroom. The lower level contains a laundry with washing machine, dryer and separate toilet and storeroom with rear street access. Reverse cycle air conditioning is provided on Levels 1, 2 & 3. Ceiling fans/ and pedestal fans are located throughout the house. The house is completely accessible except for the second storage room on the lower level, under stairs cupboards and roof space. Our contact details will be provided with your booking for any other queries you may have. There are a multitude of café’s, restaurants, bars and hotels and all sorts of amenities close by. Just stroll up or down Harris Street and the cross streets to explore. You are 5 minutes from the Sydney Fish Markets and the Star Casino. The Star is also famous for its Lyric Theatre. Smaller restaurants and cafes are very good quality, well known and only a very short walk eg Made in Italy, The Soux, Galleon and Le Trader to name just a few. Darling Harbour also has a huge selection. Additionally, at the bottom of Harris St, you will arrive at the harbour with wonderful walks, various parklands, picnic grounds with well-equipped children's playgrounds. There are 2 large supermarkets where you can stock up if you intend to eat in, again a 5-minute walk from our home. Pyrmont is easily seen simply by walking as it is such a small suburb. Otherwise, there are many choices to navigate around and all are close by. Buy an OPAL card from the Newsagent across the street and you will have immediate access to buses, ferry, light rail and trains. BUS: Two bus routes, 501 and 389, which stop and pick up 2 minutes from our front door. The 501 will take you to Central Station via the Powerhouse Museum and Darling Harbour. Alight at George St to walk to Paddys Market and Chinatown. From Central Station you can catch further trains that service the CBD, metropolitan and regional areas of NSW and interstate locations. Catch the 389 bus to the CBD or stay onboard to travel to Bondi Beach. The Hop On Hop Off 24 hour bus also stops metres from our house. A great way to see the major sights of Sydney. FERRY: Pyrmont ferry stop takes you to Circular Quay. From Circular Quay you can catch the Manly Ferry or travel to other well-known spots around the Sydney Harbour. LIGHT RAIL: The Fish Market light rail stop is a 5 min walk from our house. The light rail operates between Central Station and Dulwich Hill and has interesting inner west suburbs that you can explore. Of course, you can also walk to the Sydney Fish Market which is just behind the Light Rail. AIRPORT: To access our home to or from the airport, you have several choices: Shuttle Bus Airport Train to Central Station and then Light Rail to Fish Market Stop. 8 min walk to our home. Taxi or Uber We supply luxury bed linen and towels. We also provide a selection of breakfast cereals, teas plus a coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods. On arrival, you will be spoiled with a selection of fruit and cheeses. We equip our bathrooms with quality shampoos, conditioners, body and hand washes. Our kitchen is fully equipped to produce a gourmet meal with a range of herbs and spices for our guests that enjoy cooking.
