The villas epitomise contemporary Sri Lankan luxury, fully equipped, with antique furniture pieces, king size beds with premium natural latex mattresses, and a 4 person outdoor jacuzzi. The resort manager and our awesome team at Aarunya will attend to all your requirements. The area was once a large tea estate, known as Syston Estate. Now it is predominately smaller estates and villages of local inhabitants. We have embarked on developing this beautiful tea and plantation estate land with the vision to create a world class nature resort and spa experience rooted in legendary Sri Lankan hospitality. We're located conveniently between Kandy and Dambulla (the gateway to the cultural centre & north of Sri Lanka), just 1.5km off the main A9 road connecting both cities.  When coming from the A9 (Kandy-Dambulla Road), please take the turn-off at Alawathugoda town, across the road from the Service Station, adjacent to the Government Pradeshiya Sabha Office. Continue along this village road for 1.5km. Our Restaurant is founded on the love of creating wonderful, healthy, fine dining options with the best local produce catering to international tastes, inspired by the uniqueness and diversity of Sri Lankan cuisine. The restaurant is located in the Central Bungalow overlooking the main pool with spectacular mountain views, a social space to be shared by both resort and restaurant guests. The restaurant is open to the public for breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea (subject to limited capacity, based on first preference for resort guests).
