To reach the house, you must leave your car on the road above and walk about 200 yards down a path of steep cobblestone steps [not suitable for elderly guests] which continues on a further hundred yards to the lake. The closest restaurant is ten minute walk away. Only in summer, there are a tennis court and swimming pool in the vacation Resort La Cava, ten minute walk. At the beginning of the stairs leading down to the villa, on the road, there is the stop bus for Como or Bellagio. The journey to Como takes about half an hour. In Como, elegance surrounds you: elegant shops, cafés, restaurants and of course several museums and painting exhibitions. Furthermore the town of Como is worldwide leader in silk production. Even private customers will have the unique opportunity to buy material, scarves, or ties directly from the manufactures in Como. Como has a railway station where you can take a quick train ride to Milan. Villa Sorriso is ideally placed for numerous excursions in the beautiful pre-alpine countryside or to Bellagio, also known as the pearl of the lake. in the bottom of the garden there is a cottage styling tools, please do not enter because it can be dangerous for you and the kids. The outdoor areas of the villa are exceptional given the magical view and poetic atmosphere. There is an attractive garden where the guests can enjoy outdoor meals under a pergola of wisteria, a sunny patio and a vegetable garden with tomatoes, salad, zucchini, cucumbers.....The garden has a variety of trees that thrive in this mild microclimate such as palms, fig trees and according to the seasons: trees of apricot, cherries, apples, loquats and pomegranates. There are also different types of grape plants. the Villa will be in total available: once you arrive you will find the first comfort items: fruits, coffe, tea, sugar, milk, biscuits, juices, jam for your breakfast.
