The house represents a perfect place for those looking for a peaceful spot in nature, where one can breathe fresh air and enjoy the unspoiled environment. Spending a few days in a typical Upper Carniolan (Gorenjska) village might be a truly different and unforgettable holiday experience. There are also many hiking trails in the area. The house has 2 bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom, a kitchen and a garden overlooking a meadow and a forest. You are warmly welcome to visit this unique place! Our house (55 square meters) is located in the countryside village of Zvirce, near the medieval town of Trzic, overlooking Karavanke mountains range. It is very close to lake Bled (17 km, 18-min drive) and is easily reachable by car (1.5 km from the Villach – Ljubljana highway). It is on the way to Klagenfurt am Woerthersee (45km, 56-min drive) and close to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, which is only 20-min drive away. It is close to some popular tourist destinations such as Bled and Bohinj, but yet far enough so as not to be a busy tourist place. The capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, is very close 20-minutes drive. Postojna cave is only an hour away by car. The place is in close proximity of the Karavanke Alps paradise. It is a village without a train station. The only public transport available are buses which, however, do not run that frequently. Therefore, it is highly recommendable you visit the place by car. The nearest airport is Brnik airport which is 25 km away. The area is very traditional and authentic.
