Cozy apartment in Athens

The space is very pleasant and inviting. There is a living room where you can relax in the sofa or have a dinner with friends in the dining table placed in this space. There is a cozy, full equipped little kitchen with a nice small balcony attached, that gives to the kitchen plenty of light. The bathroom is also full equipped and at the walk in shower there is also an upright hydro-massage column. There are also a beautiful plants in both balconies. You can find a lot of quiet in this apartment because although the building is located on a lively square, the apartment turns its face on the side street which is small and with hardly any traffic. You can always feel free to write to me through email or call me if any extra info and help is needed during your stay or before arriving. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. One can find the closest super market about 50 meters away, and there are a lot of other mini markets around and also a big Carefour super market on Kifissias street 5 minutes away. There are 2 bakeries down the square, one located exactly on the square and one across panormou street (papaspirou, who makes nice koulouri to taste!). There is a biological market 10, a minute walk from the house (str. Vasili Logothetidi 16) near the panormou metro station, where you can find among other, fresh bio fruit and vegetables. There is an open market every Saturday just down the street, where you can find lots of fresh fruit and vegetable, fish, olives, honey and herbs. You can also find a lot of cafes and little restaurants in the neighborhood. There are some down the square and also many other near Panormou station, not more than 10 minutes walking from the house. Down Panormou street and near the junction with Alexandras avenue there is the tastiest peinirli and pizza around! (peinirli ionias). Not far from the apartment there is a nice more challenging walk to make if you like jogging or trecking! You can go up the Lycabetous hill which can provide a spectacular panoramic view all around Athens and until the sea. There are various cinema halls around and if you are planning to come during spring and summer season, you can find that there are also two diferrent open summer cinema at a 10 minutes walking distance, which is a lovely night going out choice. It is only a 3 minutes walk to the Ampelokipoi metro station and 3 stations away from Syntagma station and so the center of the city. There are also a lot of buses which pass from the kifissias and alexandras avenues that can also leed you to the center of the city. If you want to walk you can get to Syntagma in 30 minutes walking down the v.Sofias avenue. You can get here from the airport through straight through the blue metro line in 45 minutes disembarking in Ampelokipoi metro station, or you can also get the X95 and get off at Plateia ampelokipon which is not far from the apartment. From the port of Pireus you get here by taking the green line from the port station and changing in the blue line at Monastiraki station by wich you travel until Ampelokipoi station.
