Small - cozy bedroom in 17th century French manoir

This small bedroom under the roof is our most popular room in the house. It could be related to the price (the cheapest room in the house!) but even so people seem to like it. It has a comfortable bed, space to hang and store your belongings and a nice bathroom with bath. The room is not so big but does it really matter if you can be outside and have all the space that you need or on rainy days spend time indoors in our huge shared living room. In the middle of the French countryside, in a beautiful old manoir, ex-chateau, with courtyard and large pool, a cosy double bedroom with private, en-suite bath room. The property is set on 20 hectares of organic land. You can enjoy your breakfast on the terrace in the morning sun. If you're lucky you'll see the neighbors cows in the field in the distance and if you're very lucky you'll see a deer or two jumping on our field. From the pool there are amazing views of the nearby town of Tournon d'Agenais. We provide simple evening meals on certain nights of the week. These evenings haven't been decided yet for the summer 2018. on a clear night you have a fantastic view of the stars. There is no light pollution in Thézac and around our house so why not sit in a lounger and spend a moment stargazing. This is something so difficult to find in our modern day cities. We have at walking distance two local, award winning, wineries. More than just a holiday! You have access to the big living room, the tv room, the terrace, all the grounds around the house, the pool area and for the kids we have a big trampoline and a table tennis table in the old -non renovated- barn. Whenever you have questions feel free to ask! We're around and always willing to help if we can. The house Canel is set in the countryside, one could say in the middle of nowhere. If you like city activity around you ... this is not the place to come. Yes, there are restaurants, yes there are activities for kids, yes there are lovely medieval towns all over the region, yes there are fantastic morning markets with very good quality fruit and veg, and yes there are beautiful historic sites, so you don't have to be bored at all. And if you don't want to do all these activities then why not sit by the pool or hang in the hammock and read a book. Time to relax! Because we are set in the countryside with low density population there is NO public transportation near our house. The nearest railway station is 10km away but then there is no bus to get to us. We highly recommend that you bring your own form of transportation.
