Imlil home stay is a traditional Berber house perched above Imlil in the village of Arghen.Please keep in mind you will be staying with local family house, and this is not a resort hotel . Imlil Authentic Toubkal Lodge is a traditional Berber house perched above Imlil in the village of Arghen near Mazik. The situation of The Lodge provides you with excellent views and stunning sceneries on Imlil’s valley and towards the Toubkal summit. From the balcony, you can mentally prepare yourself for the day ahead whilst we provide an ample breakfast to fuel your adventures. Moreover, The Lodge is ideally located for hiking in the surrounding valleys and summiting mountain peaks including the famous Jebel Toubkal. We do not have sherpas in Morocco, but muleteers with their mules will take care of your heavy rucksacks and after your excursions The Lodge offers hot showers and we prepare you mint tea that will restore you. We have also more relaxing courses available if you would prefer something more crafty and creative. In the evenings, you can relax on the balcony whilst we prepare soups, targine, couscous and delicious fresh breads for dinner. We buy our ingredients at the souk in Asni and fresh fruits are available in your room. Whether you want to rest and relax during your stay or discover the mountains on foot, we are here to provide you with all the information you need. You will probably be the only tourists in village of 600+ people complete with many goats, donkeys and things you would expect in the village life. If you are not driving yourself, the owner can arrange to meet you at the airport and drive 65km towards Imlil in a Mercedes Grand Private taxi = 30 euros each way Room for up to 5 people maximum Another option is hiring a 4x4 or minivan if you would prefer. 60 euros each way In case you have your own transport, you need to drive through Marrakech city and choose the way leads to Tahannaout and Asni, you will find a sigh ‘’ Imlil at 17km” turn on left hand and then continue until Imlil centre. When you reach imlil centre we will arrange a mule to carry up your luggage as you will walk up 10 min to reach the lodge.. The cheapest way to arrive here is by taxi station called Sidi Mimoun; located next to Jamaa El Fna 2 min walk. Share Grand Taxi to Imlil = 4 to 6 euros. + Included in your room price is one complimentary tea ceremony as a welcoming, and also a free full breakfast to really show you our Berber hospitality!! + Traditional Moroccan dinners are offered for extra cost if desired.
