Separate, sunny and self-contained guest house

Hosted by retired Kiwi couple happy to show what NZ has to offer - looking to meet friendly, trust-worthy travellers. Guest house is set up for you to be fully self-contained and separate from our main house. Lounge area, kitchenette, bedroom, ensuite, covered balcony, use of plunge pool, spa and flower gardens. Laundry amenities at main house and secure on-site car parking. Close to village, semi-rural with sheep on the boundary fence. Must be dog-friendly (2x friendly, pet dogs on-site). Guest house is separate from the main house and set up for you to be fully self-contained and independent. - Lounge area: TV, DVD, stereo, reclining lazy-boy chair and 3-seater couch. - Kitchenette: microwave, kettle, toaster, electric frypan, fridge and all crockery and cutlery. - Bedroom: double bed, drawers and clothes-hanging rack. - Ensuite: hot shower, toilet and basin. - Covered balcony: table and chairs and 2 reclining chairs. - Use of plunge pool and spa. - Laundry amenities at main house - Secure on-site car parking. Use of plunge pool, spa and garden areas. We live permanently in the separate main house so are on hand for any questions or issues that guests have. Our guests have their own keys for the guest house and remote control for the automatic security gates to access the driveway. We provide complementary continental breakfast. Helensville is a small, semi-rural kiwi town. The village has everything you'll need including: supermarket, cafes, restaurants, pharmacy, doctors etc. We are close to Parakai Thermal hot pools, Muriwai Beach and Golf Course, South Head Golf Course, Woodhill Forest Biking, Waitemata Gun Club. Close to numerous wineries, cafes, restaurants. Our house is a short 3 min drive or easy 15min walk to the centre of the village. Motorways - only 10mins drive to access motorways heading north, west and south. Drive to AKL CBD in 40min. Buses - from the local village to Westgate shopping centre, Kumeu village, Albany and Auckland CBD. Must be dog-friendly (2x friendly, pet dogs on-site).
