This lovingly restored property is in the leafy and peaceful Scenic Rim, famous for stunning landscape, bushwalking, hiking, wine tasting, and photography. To explore the area, you'll need a car. The hosts, Suz and Tony are helpful, friendly and respectful of guest's privacy and choices. When you book a private room, we remain at the property. We live on a peaceful, stunning property, surrounded by bushland, great views, fresh clean air and wildlife like kangaroos, wallabies and an array of birdlife. Maisie, our beautiful Siamese is no longer with us:( We do have 2 cheeky chooks who will keep you amused for hours. Feel free to collect the eggs too! The deck offers stunning sunrises and sunsets, star gazing and a meals area. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen, dedicated guest cupboard with cutlery and crockery and the barbecue for preparing QUICK meals. Just check with us whether it's available. Meals can also be enjoyed at the breakfast bar. Guests are not able to access our bedroom at the front of the house. Guests are able to access any of the two living areas and either of the decks at the house. The kitchen is a shared space, and you are welcome to utilise the space to prepare quick meals. Feel free to help yourself to breakfast - fruit and nut muesli, fruit, toast with vegemite, peanut butter or honey, tea and coffee. Our bedroom (door closed) is NOT accessible for guests. We are happy for you to keep to yourself, or we are more than a little social and have met many wonderful people whilst staying at Airbnbs. Less is more when it comes to flushing toilet paper, and please be mindful that no fat or other objects go down the drains. We are always mindful of water usage as the Scenic Rim is drought declared.
