Rowanberry is a classic 1930's farm cottage, set in a beautiful 1.5 acre mature rambling garden of mature gum, many oak and pine trees, attracting a spectacular range of native wildlife, black cockatoos, king parrots, ringtails and if you are lucky koalas. Perfect for families and couples. There are two bedrooms, the master bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has two singles and there is a third separate bedroom for extra guests. Central kitchen and large deck. Only a minutes walk from The Merricks General Wine Store, close to wineries and beaches. Perfect for families and couples. Designer interior with one queen bed, two singles and a double bed. Snug lounge room with open fire, and panel heaters. Outside the deck can be a sun trap to watch the many local native birds. Trampoline, hammocks and swings for relaxing, BBQ on deck. A large mature garden, which has a gate and is securely fenced for pets and has plenty of parking space. The cottage will be private and I can be contacted via mobile during the stay. So many places to visit and things to do, beautiful unspoilt countryside for long walks, beautiful local beaches, numerous restaurants and wineries and the wonderful Merricks General Wine store for coffee, drinks, food and local produce is only a minutes walk away. A car is the best way to explore the peninsular but for guests who would like to arrive by train Bittern station is only 15 minutes away. Uber drivers available in the area. There is ample parking at the house and from Melbourne it takes approx 1 hour 15 minutes drive. Rowanberry is a non smoking cottage, pets are welcome with prior approval.
