Monet Room - Gateway to the New Forest
Redbrook Farm is more than just a convenient place to sleep and move on to your next adventure. Our aim is to create an environment that makes your stay with us an essential part of that adventure. Nestled on the edge of the New Forest National Park, we believe that our home is the perfect base for walkers, artists, anglers, cyclists or anyone simply looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. In fact, once you arrive there is no need to get back into your car! We have 4 en-suite rooms available, which are all named after some of our favourite artists: Monet, Van Gogh, Turner and Degas. We run an honesty box policy at Redbrook for those added extras, such as wine, speciality teas and coffees. The Monet room En-suite shower bathroom. A double size bed, paired with Hypnos mattresses to ensure all guests get a great night’s sleep. Tea and coffee. TV, complete with a streaming TV service. Complementary WIFI. As standard we provide a continental breakfast, with the majority of ingredients sourced locally. Secure storage for mountain bikes, fishing rods etc. For art lovers, we run Redbrook Art Studio and school. If you have a creative itch, let us help you scratch it. Our aim is simple but our standards are high, we aim to provide a place to stay, to relax and a place that simply says ‘welcome home’ each time you pull into the drive. Stay a while, relax, explore, and enjoy! Notes: The Monet Room is at the front of the house and is closer to the busy A338 road. Although it is not busy at night, guests may hear some traffic passing by at night. This room has a reduced price to account for the risk of increased noise. This room does also benefit from acoustic secondary glazing so a fantastic night's sleep is assured. We recommend walking everywhere locally, there is no need to get in your car, however our home does benefit from a direct link to the busy A338, which means easy access to commuter routes and many of the great attractions the New Forest and surrounding areas have to offer. Alternatively catch the X3 bus from the Redbrook Farm bus stop into Salisbury, Ringwood, Bournemouth or anywhere in between. Welcome to the northern gateway to the New Forest also known as Fordingbridge. A place to relax and unwind from the busy 'modern' world, to take in the beauty of the natural environment and nourish your soul for a while. Fordingbridge, the perfect place to base your next adventure, either explore the local amenities, such as: Fordingbridge Town Centre - Stroll over the River Avon via the medieval bridge into the town centre, where you will find fantastic pubs, restaurants, shops and also the Museum which depicts some of the fascinating history and people of this riverside town. Kayaking on the River Avon Walking - two legs are better than four wheels; Cycling - Sometimes it's worth upgrading to two wheels to seek out adventure; Horse Riding - Sometimes four legs are better than two; Archery, Crossbows & Axe Throwing; Aqua Park - Set in 50 acres of beautiful New Forest countryside, the New Forest Water Park is the UK's first WIBIT outdoor, floating, inflatable sports water part. In addition they they have also incorporated an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional boat watersports; Ringwood Brewery - Visit the famous brewery and taste, amongst other things, it's award winning Old Thumper Ale; Many Historic sites, including: Stonehenge - arguably the world’s most famous prehistoric monument that was built in several stages: the first phase approximately 5,000 years ago, and then unique stone circle in the late Neolithic period about 2500 BC; Woodhenge - is an atmospheric Neolithic site close to Stonehenge. Believed to have been built about 2500 BC, it was originally believed to be the remains of a burial mound, Rockbourne Roman Vila and the museum; Ashley Walk Bombing range - Used during the early WWII effort as the arms race significantly increased; Alternative - Simply relax with a glass of wine and a good book in front of our wood burner. You can walk everywhere locally but for those wishing to go further afield there are Bus links directly outside Redbrook Farm (Redbrook Farm Bus Stop) to Salisbury, Ringwood, Bournemouth and everywhere in between. We are also located on the A338, so if you chose to drove you've got quick access to the main road. Covid-19 Please be assured that your safety is of paramount importance to us.
