Juha's guesthouse is a unique social business, located at the only Arab village on the beach of Israel's coastline. We invite you to visit the village, meet the people and their stories - through tours and meals in their house, just to relax on the beautiful beach or hike to the nearby nature reserves. Our shared dorm features 8 bunk beds with shared toilets and showers and free Wi-Fi. *17% VAT to be paid at arrival by our guests without Tourist Visa We are a unique social business in the only Arab town on the beach. which mean our guests will get to see and feel part of Israel that you can not see in other places. We welcome people to interact and shop in the town and to engage and help to revive the local economy. Also to enjoy the beautiful beach and the unique fisher-men bay, and to go on tours in the town and around. The guest can use the common kitchen and living room, and to have privacy in their room (if taking a private room). Also there is sun Balcony and a small Yard. We are set at the center of the town so access to groceries, restaurants, public transportation, pharmacy, and the beach is also very available You are very welcome to ask for guidance, we offer tours and meals at families houses and we encourage you to interact with the village people Although Jisr az Zarqa is located between two famous tourist sites in Israel, tourism in the village is as yet unknown. The local people have been isolated, and as a result, lack livelihood options and opportunities in their village to develop a much needed economy. We established the first guesthouse in Jisr as a means to not only help improve their economic and social situation, but also give world and local travelers an opportunity to experience the uniqueness of the village and the warmth and friendliness of its people. Juha's will also bring new employment and business possibilities to the people of Jisr as it develops into a tourist destination. Transportation options From Tel Aviv / Any Train Station: 1.Take a Train to Binyamina (from Tel Aviv to Binyamina, 30 min/ from Ben Gurion Airport, 45 min. ) 2. From Binyamina train station, take "Kavim" bus #69 to Jisr az Zarqa- 10 minutes. To find the right bus station next to Binyamina's train station: Go out of the Binyamina train station, and turn right (south.) Walk 20 meters from the trains' gate, and you will see stairs to a bridge. Cross the bridge. As you head down the other side, turn left (south) and walk a few meters on the sidewalk. There you'll see a yellow sign which is the bus station. Take bus #69. 4. Get off at Jisr az Zarka's HMO -"Kupat Holim". It's the 9th stop.Then walk up the street to the T Junction. Turn right. You will be in front of the pharmacy. You will see us across the street. _______________________________________________ From Jerusalem/Galil/golan. or if you are not near a train station: 1. Take a bus to Furadis Junction. Direct bus from Jerusalem: Central Bus Station #940 / third floor. 1 1/2 hours. 2. From Furadis Junction, cross road 4 to where the traffic is heading south. Take bus #921 to Beit Hanania Junction. 3. From Beit Hanania Junction, there are some options: a. Wait for bus #68/69 to Jisr az-Zarqa and get off at Jisr az Zarka's HMO ("Kupat Holim" stop. Walk up the street to the T Junction. Turn right. You will be in front of the pharmacy and see us across the street. b. Walk along the road toward Jisr az-Zarqa, always heading straight-don't follow signs to "Jisr north." You will see us on your right at the large intersection. c. Call us, and if possible, we will come pick you up. _______________________________________________ From Haifa: Take bus #921 to Beit Hananaia Junction From Beit Hanania Junction, follow directions above. Each of the private rooms has floor space for an additional mattress or two. These can be requested at a cost of 60NIS per unit. Once here, a five-minute walk will bring you to a beautiful sandy beach, where you will have the opportunity to experience the authentic atmosphere of an ancient Arab fishermens' village. You can also hike the famous "Israel Trail" to one of the most popular sites in Israel - Caesarea, only a 30 minute walk along the gorgeous beach; and visit the "Crocodile Stream Nature Reserve," a 10 minute walk from Juha's.
