The forest has lots of great walking routes with several small lakes and great viewpoints. You will get surprised about the quietness of the area that you'll sense as soon as you start to enter the area os 'Svaneparken'. The house is situated in Birkerød just north of Copenhagen which you'll reach within a 25 minutes drive. Birkerød is a provins town with plenty of supermarkets and a few cafés, the house is situated just 3 km from the center of Birkerød city and the easiest way to get there is by car. But buses going to the center runs only a couple of minutes walk from the house. Closest supermarket is a five minutes bike-ride from the house.
