An idyllic luxury byre wih stunning views over Broadford Bay. a spacious open plan layout comprising double bed, 3/4 double sofa bed, sauna, lavish bathroom, whirlpool bath, shower, tea/coffee making facilities, microwave, toaster. Direct access to beach from the front of your accommodation. Guests can enjoy their own patio spaces and overlooking the sea whilst warming themselves with an outdoor fire pit which has BBQ grill or the pit can be filled with ice on a hot day for chilling beer/wine. This lovely byre is an excellent base for exploring the Isle of Skye and the west coast of Scotland. The Isle of Skye is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Scotland. The tranquil village of Broadford offers many amenities including 24 hour fuel, supermarket, a quaint market sqaure and various cafes, restaurant and takeaways places to eat. Broadford Bay has a variety of marine life including otters, seals and on rare occasions dolphins and is visited by a variety of migratory birds. Other activities such has hill walking, cycling, kayaking, boat trips and many exciting tours are popular on the island. There is private parking and private access to the byre and the beach. An outdoor patio area overlooking Broadford Bay with table and chairs, fire pit with BBQ amenity. The fire pit can alternatively be filled with ice to chill beer/wine on a hot day. You can expect a warm welcome from your host who has local knowledge of the area and will help and offer recommendations. There is a shared garden with your own outside seating and a washing line. There are serveral cafe's, bars and restaurants some within walking distance of the accommodation. A Michellan star restaurant is a 20 minute drive away. The local bus stop is a 5 minute walk but there are other bus stops in the village of Broadford. Kyle of Lochalsh train station is a 10 minute taxi or bus ride away. There are local taxi companies and a unique private jeep tour is a good option. The tide can come in quickly so if you are walking on the beach please keep an eye out for the tide coming in. You might see wildlife on the beach too including seals, otters and various migrating species of birds. Please watch out for the wildlife but respect them too, they are wild and do not want or need human intervention. Please don’t try to feed them.
