Ballatoio Apartment by the Lake

Ballatoio is a completely refurbished apartment, situated in a typical Italian style railing house in the centre of Lesa and only a stone’s throw away from the lake. The apartment is made up of an open space living room and kitchen, 2 bedrooms one of which is the main double bedroom and the other a single bedroom, a spacious bathroom with a shower and washing machine. Outside you can enjoy the small balcony with its table and chairs where you can relax. It's equipped by Free wi-fi & a Smart TV. The apartment is located in the historic downtown of Lesa, from which it is accessed through a main door which is on a pedestrian road that comes up from the lake road. From the entrance you will find a wide open space with a modern, well - equipped kitchen. The master bedroom is a double with a comfortable queen size bed and a large wardrobe. The second bedroom hosts a single bed and a small wardrobe. The bathroom is spacious with a nice shower and a washing machine at your disposal. On the outside you will find two balconies, one of which has a table and two chairs, perfect to enjoy a good glass of wine at sunset. On your arrival you will be given the keys, as well as all the information on where to visit at Lake Maggiare, restaurants, the best places to have an aperitivo and a lot more information. The downtown of Lesa is the centre of the village where there is the lake front, bars, major restaurants and small ferry port are located, where the boats leave. On the lakefront you can take advantage of the panoramic walks, arriving all the way to Belgirate, which is the next village (1.5km away), or discover many other walk paths. You can enjoy the breakfast and the local croissants at the coffee shop, while at lunch and dinner you can eat at one of the restaurants on the lakefront. If you arrive by car, the nearest free parking spot is 100 meters from my apartment, where you can park your car free of charge. 50 metres aways there is a bus stop, where every hour there is a bus to the main lake destinations and Milan.. 100 metres away is the ferry port, where the public boats depart for the main Lake destinations, as well as the Borromean Islands and Switzerland. 1km away is Lesa train station which has trains going toward Milan and Domodossola. My apartment is located on the second floor of a railing house. Due to the lack of a lift, it is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. The city tax of 1 € per person per night is not included in the rate. I got paid for it on your arrival. Children under 14 are excluded from paying the tourist tax.
