Less than 10 minutes away there is the beach of Ayia Fotia, with restaurants, beach bars, cafes and a minimarket. In village Kallimasia, which is 1,5km from Monolia there is a super market. If you are interested in visiting the rest of the island I would recommend to rend a car but if you intend to relax in monolia maisonettes then a car is not necessary. I can always arrange for a taxi for your transportation from and to the airport or the port. Every apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen with Tassimo espresso machine.
