Catskill Studio with a View

Lovely studio in the Catskills with stunning mountain views. Situated on 7 private acres 1 mile above the town of Tannersville, NY, studio is detached from the main house with private entrance. Location is 10 minutes from Hunter Mountain, 20 minutes from Phoenicia and 40 minutes from Woodstock. Enjoy hiking in the summer, spectacular foliage in the fall, skiing at Hunter or Windham in the winter and antiquing year round. Studio is one room with separate living, kitchenette/dining and sleeping areas plus a full bathroom. Newly remodeled kitchenette features wood cabinetry and premium appliances including dishwasher, stove, microwave refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, Breville toaster oven and Keurig coffee maker. Wood burning stove, TV and Apple TV in living area. There is excellent Wifi and cell service (cellphone signal booster is installed in house). There is also a landline phone. Guests have full access to the studio space, the parking area, garden entry and the surrounding property. Guests can use the patio area in the summer time when host is not in residence. Flexible on other access requirements on request. Available prior to stay to run through logistics and answer any questions. Available 24/7 during stay. We may be in main house, but available by phone otherwise. Tannersville is referred to as "the painted village in the sky" and has many restaurants, gift shops, galleries and antique stores. There is fine dining at the Deer Mountain Inn or you can visit Scribner's Catskill Lodge in Hunter for a hipper experience. A car is necessary for getting around, but there is a reliable taxi service (Smileys) if you want to enjoy a night on the town and not have to worry about driving. During the winter, the path to the studio will be shoveled and cleared as best as possible, but guests may have to walk through some snow. Care should be taken as path can also get some ice buildup.
