Experience the magic of our fully renovated home with amazing views overlooking Georges Bay. Relax, go for walks, or explore the stunning Bay of Fires. Local activities include swimming, surfing, fishing, mountain bike riding and kayaking. The kitchen is fully equipped, with adjoining dining area and an outdoor BBQ in the private garden. NBN connected. We are located 7km from the Townlink trail that connects to the St Helens Mountain Bike Trails. We have a lock up garage available for your use. The large master bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite. The second bedroom has a double bed. The third bedroom has a trundle bed which becomes 2 singles or another queen bed. This can be packed away if not required and the room can be used as a sitting room. NBN is connected and the new 4K TV has Netflix available. Free parking is available. You can use our lock up garage to safely store your car, bikes and fishing gear I can be contacted by email and will endeavour to answer within the hour. Georges Bay is home to swans, pelicans, gulls and schools of fish. You may even glimpse dolphins, seals or sea eagles on your walk beside Georges Bay. Look out for whales at nearby Maurouard Beach accessed over Peron Dunes. It is a short drive to Burns Bay boat ramp, Beerbarrel Beach and the lighthouse. Seats are provided for whale watching. Mountain bike trails are easily accessed and the calm Georges Bay is ideal for a variety of water sports. Nearby at Parkside or St Helens are restaurants and shops. The closest shop is at Hillcrest Tourist park, 3.3km away, so make sure you are prepared with all the groceries you might need. In St Helens, you will find shops specialising in local Tasmanian produce, as well as boutique art and craft shops. Akaroa is centrally located to drive north to the Bay of Fires, south on the Great Eastern Drive or inland to beautiful rainforest and lush farming land. Whatever the weather or the time of year, there is always stunning scenery and beautiful places to explore. Make sure you allow enough time to fully indulge yourself because your visit to Akaroa is bound to be wonderful. We recommend you drive a car but there is also easy access for kayaks and bicycles. Please (Hidden by Airbnb) "St Helens Mountain Bike trails" for all information about this very popular local activity. There are many surf beaches nearby. Please make sure you are fully informed about surf conditions and any hazards to help decide which beach to visit. Off road driving at nearby Peron Dunes can be dangerous if you do not have the right equipment and do not follow recommended safety procedures.
