Glenmore Springs King Valley Kiln
A converted tobacco kiln, now an historic building, very unique, quirky and fully self contained. Very close to several of the King Valley wineries which include Chrismont, Dal Zotto, Pizzini, Politini, Francesco, Corsini's , King River Brewers and others. King River borders our property. Power's Lookout is directly above us. Paradise Falls and Lake William Hovell are just a short drive. The iconic shape of these old tobacco kilns will be remembered long after your stay with us. Quirky touches throughout. Clean, comfortable and fully self contained with kitchen and laundry facilities. Upper bedroom has balcony with views and antique brass bed with lux mattress. On the historic Glenmore which was once the home of James Quinn who was Ned Kelly's grandfather. We have several walking/nature tracks on the farm. Our 3 accommodations are all stand alone buildings. Whole of King Valley Kiln as well as the back under cover area for parking, all the walking tracks on farm, 300 acres of farmland and the King River. We offer a pick up service for a fee and can drive you back to your accommodation from local eateries/wineries only. This service needs to be booked well in advance. Beautiful narrow valley, flanked by the Power's lookout Reserve on the West side and the pristine waters of the Upper King River on the East side. Quiet rural farming community scattered with vineyards and wineries and great places to eat. No Public Transport but we have options for you to travel around. We have a 2 nights minimum stay. Easter holidays, Christmas and New Year Holidays is a minimum of 3 nights stays for up to 8 people which will be charged at full house prices. Please contact us for current prices. School holiday period a minimum of a 2 night stay, and King Valley Festival weekends ie: Weekend Fit for a King and La Dolce Vita weekend are charged at a full house price, please contact us for prices.
