Norwottuck Rail Trail for biking is 7 minutes away as well as many hiking trails. Guest is welcome to use all outdoor facilities with the understanding you’ll treat the property, wildlife and nature with complete respect. Fishing is allowed only under the strict supervision on an adult fisherman who knows the catch and release policy without harming fish. Fishing poles and lures are available for a nominal fee. Swimming at our 1 acre beach pond is allowed with a sign affidavit signature of the safety guideline prior to any swimming. There is a private 4 hole very challenging golf course with bunkers, water hazards, and unforgiven greens. Par3, 4 and 5 have irrigated fairways with roughs and hazard areas you'll want to avoid. Club rentals, pull carts and golf carts are available for a nominal fee. We offer many sports (full court polypropylene basketball court, badminton, lawn bowling, tennis courts close by and much more. We will usually have these items available to borrow as needed. Grilling is available or maybe a night time fire. Ice Cream and restaurant directly across from house which is a popular place for the locals. Surrounded by nature you can just enjoy ambiance with many quiet locations to relax. If you are the person who likes to stay busy or relax, this is the place for you. Winter activities include x-skiing,ice fishing, indoor gym and aerobic area. Someone is ususually available to assist you as needed throughout the day. 14 acres, you are secluded from close neighbors but there are a few within walking distance. The town of Granby (URL HIDDEN) is small but quaint. Springfield, Ma. our closes major city is 25 minutes away. Bike and hiking paths are close by. We have plenty of parking places and there is minimal public transportation near by but you can check with (URL HIDDEN) for schedules. Our local knowledge will help you get around the area. We want you to be comfortable here while creating memorable moments. Respect others at all time as they'll do the same for you. Alcohol is permitted but please use discretion at times regarding your surroundings. Even though Massachusetts permits the use of Marijuana we ask that you sustain from using it on our property. Wi-Fi is available; connection will depend on location and phone capabilities. The passcode will be provided in handout. 2. Select any room that is available. 3. Streaming TV is available for the main room with antennae service for local channels. 4. If need to hang clothes, please contact us if your room isn’t equipped with one. 5. Additional blankets, pillows and heaters available upon request. 6. Family room is available for your use with the understanding safety and cleanliness is expected. Any drinks and food should be used on table away from areas of spilling accidents. 7. Ping Pong table can be used for those over 16 years of age. Please avoid scratching table and (NO DRINKS ON TABLE). 8. Putting area, treadmill and weights available for anyone over 16. Anyone under 16 must have a waiver signed and adult supervision. 9. Refrigerator in basement can be used knowing that we also store items there. 10. Full bathroom for your use with clean towels, soap and shampoo available. A secondary bathroom on 1st floor can be used if needed. 11. Breakfast is not available by us. 12. No smoking inside. 1. Pond is available for use with the understanding of our strict guidelines •No swimming alone. •Adult supervision with any children under the age 16 or limited swimming experience. •Have Safety flotation device near you at all times. •Do Not Swim Under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol •Avoid Diving Headfirst •Do Not Swim During Thunderstorms •Fishing is allowed with the understanding catch and release. Please avoid fishing if you have limited fishing experience until you are properly supervised to avoid unnecessary fish injuries. Recommend using barbless hooks to avoid fish injuries. Supervised fishing for anyone under the age of 16. 2. Golfing is available with the understanding of strict guidelines. •Golf etiquette is expected so it will make the game safer and more enjoyable and to minimize possible damage to golf equipment and course. •Divots should always be replaced and stepped on to reconnect the roots. •Never stand closer than 6” to the cup this will help avoid the hole from collapsing in. •Golf carts must always be 15’ away from greens. Pull carts and carrying bags can be next to greens. •Don’t slide hand along flag stick as small fiberglass may protrude into your skin. •Alternate flagstick cups in a clockwise manner. This will give a different putt next time on green. •Avoid hitting at any building. Your caliber of golf should decide what shot is safe to hit. •Any ball that’s leaves our property is considered out of bounds. Red stakes are marked to designate hazardous areas and ball may be placed at point of entrance. •Golf clubs and carts are available for rent. Reasonable prices will be determined upon arrival. •Coolers are allowed on course with strict understanding to respect our property and other people. 3. Basketball is available from 8:00am-10:00pm. Wednesday night there adult league which individual are welcome to join in. Basketball will be provided at time of arrival. 4. Many other sporting activities are available (croquet, lawn bocce, volleyball, kiting and hiking)
