Cosy Coastal Cottage in Devon

Lofthouse is a beautiful 3 double-bedroom period cottage in the heart of this popular coastal village and is only a 15 minute walk to the beach. It has wonderful views over the village and Church, a south facing courtyard and is an ideal base from which to explore the South Hams, Slapton Ley and Devon coast. Slapton is midway between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. It has two excellent pubs, a well stocked local store and Slapton Ley Nature Reserve which attracts visitors from all over the world. We don't live in the village however our wonderful nieghbours and friendly villagers are always on-hand to help you out if you get stuck. Slapton has two excellent and charming pubs serving everything from local fresh fish, mouth watering steaks and traditional family food. It also has a superb village shop stocking everything you need to get through a few days if you don't want to head into the larger towns. Whilst we do not have parking at the Lofthouse, there is plenty of parking within a five minute walk. We provide a map of available places to park, none of our guests have had any issues with parking during their stay. One well behaved dog welcome, at a cost of £50 per stay.
