Lovely room & ensuite in spacious house in Woden. Very private, clean & comfortable. 10 minutes from city centre. Public transport at doorstep & walking distance to shops, restaurants, movies, gym. Courtyard & Spa for your private use. This is a lovely room with lots of space and big windows that look out onto courtyard garden. Outdoor access so you can come and go as you please and with privacy. Ideal for business or travel guests with easy access to basic necessities as well as government and business hubs and popular tourist spots. A second room is also available, with double bed and shared bathroom with lovely cast iron bath There is also a fold out bed in lounge area if you are travelling in a group and need more beds. There is an ensuite off the bedroom. The house is large with an open kitchen, dining & two lounge areas which you are free to use and enjoy. There is also a hot outdoor spa in the courtyard which you can use privately. If you like to exercise there's a rowing machine and cross trainer that can be moved into your room. If I'm home (I'm often away on business) I am happy to interact with guests but am also quite busy and in and out a lot. The house is big enough that there's more than enough space to ensure you can get your quiet time and privacy. I'm easy either way. My home is in a lovely area, nice and quiet but also very close to all that you might need. There's a bus stop literally 20 metres from the front door, local shops just a 5 minute walk with a grocer and lovely restaurant/cafe with great live music on Sundays! There's a park near the shops, and a YMCA fitness centre that has a gym and classes (pilates, yoga etc). There are a number of gyms, restaurants, a public swimming pool and a large westfield shopping centre with shops, restaurants, cafes etc just 1.1k from the house. If you're a nature lover, or would enjoy a nice walk in the Aussie bush, you'll love nearby Mt Taylor Nature Park. There are a number of options for walking or riding depending on your fitness level. There's a lookout you can drive to, picnic tables and lots of kangaroos! We are only a 10-15 minute drive from most main centres - Civic, Tuggeranong, Manuka, Belconnen and a 10 minute walk to Woden town centre. There is a bus stop outside the front of the house which can take you quickly to the main bus interchanges just 1.1 k away at Woden. I have two dogs :)
