A beautifully furnished & recently renovated ground floor ensuite bedroom in our 16th century grade II listed farmhouse at Nansladron. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra steps to clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces between reservations. We have a fogging machine with anti-coronavirus products that we use before every check-in. Our home, Nansladron Farm, is set amidst a beautiful wooded valley and nearby river which runs down towards the quaint little village of Pentewan and its neighbouring golden stretch of beach. The cottage is situated in a quiet peaceful area that is unspoiled by light pollution and on clear nights is an ideal spot for stargazing. We have a beautiful cottage garden with secluded seating and a BBQ area. In your room you will find a selection of teas, coffee and biscuits.In Sun Valley resort, next door you will find Rebellion Roasthouse & Moonshine Bar who serve delicious food and amazing cocktails. Guests have full access to our extensive gardens and orchard. There is a summerhouse with private patio area, outside table & chairs, sun loungers and off road parking. We offer as much or as little interaction as you require so if we can do anything to make your stay even more special please let us know. Due to the coronavirus we are limiting the amount of contact with guests for your peace of mind but we are still here if you need us. The lost gardens of Heligan are also within walking/cycling distance although this is uphill so for less able visitors a short drive of 3.5 miles might be best. We are able to offer 10% discounted entry tickets to our guests for Heligan. The world renowned Eden project is a mere 15 minute drive away. A bus stop is just outside of the grounds which can take you to the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey or into the local town of St Austell where you can find the cinema and bowling alley and supermarkets. . The bus and train station can also be found 3 miles away in St Austell. Opposite the property is a path leading to the cycle trail between St Austell and Pentewan . Nearby campsites offer non-resident access to a heated indoor swimming pool. The charming port of Charlestown, filming location of many films an TV productions such as Poldark is a 10 minute drive away Our house is perfectly located for enjoying the surrounding area with a plethora of charming and sometimes rugged coastal & country walks. The world famous surfing beaches of the North Cornish coast are just a short drive away. St Austell golf course is just around the corner for those who like to play a round. Come and enjoy a special getaway in a relaxing space where a good rest is assured. The local pub, Polgooth Inn, is only half a mile away serving St Austell brewery ales & quality food. Or, heading in the opposite direction you can walk the trail to the Ship Inn in Pentewan. Our amenities listed include a charcoal BBQ that you can borrow along with the requisite utensils, we can provide some outdoor dining equipment for use in and around the summerhouse There is a bus stop at the end of our drive There will also be a Welcome Pack awaiting you on your arrival, which includes milk, tea, coffee and toiletries and there is a small refrigerator in the room. We also provide cleaning products and disposable cloths. At the end of your stay, we ask that you remove your own rubbish and dispose of it in the bins provided outside the property. We also have a separate annex and another ensuite room where we can accommodate another 4 guests if you are a larger party.
