A Full Two bedroom Apartment at Peponi

This listing is a well-appointed two bedroom apartment at Peponi. It is decorated with handicrafts made by local artisans and kitenge works. The corridors and rooms have wildlife pictures taken by me in Rwanda. The pool area is done in wood and has great views; we have a chef who can cook from our menu for reasonable prices. We do not have set the timing for breakfast(Breakfast is not included in the price and we charge 6USD/guest for breakfast). We originally built Peponi as a serviced rental apartment, later on, we added a pool and restaurant and converted several of our apartment to hotel style rooms. This listing is for an apartment that we did not turn in to single rooms. I live in one of the flats when am in Kigali. We have a full-fledged team taking care of the property. There is a front desk, and we have staff in charge throughout the day. We also have third party professional security service guarding the property ( Not that Kigali has safety issues but as a precaution). The property is also under surveillance to ensure peace of mind for all our guests. The pool area is done in wood and makes a great spot to have your breakfast or a beer in the evening. Having been calling Rwanda home for over twenty years, do talk to me and I might have a few pointers for you regarding where to go what to do and a lot more. The property has ample car parking space and garden areas. The guest will have access to these. The guest can also access the pool, restaurant etc. We have a barbeque area which you are welcome to use. When am in Kigali I will be staying in one of the flats and will be happy to interact. Kagugu is just ten minutes drive from the town centre. It has many restaurants, cafes, supermarkets etc. It is close to the Gisozi Genocide Memorial. Our location is 10 minutes from most things in Kigali by car. That being said if you are the kind of person who wants to walk to everything, our location might not be for you. Ideally, you should have access to a car or be willing to use motorbike taxis when staying with us. The best option to get around Kigali is by Moto or motorbike taxis. We can help you hire vehicles or motos for your stay. We do have a driver and car available at the property for nominal charges. The Move app also covers our area in case you want to use it. Our location is 10 minutes from most things in Kigali by car. That being said if you are the kind of person who wants to walk to everything, our location might not be for you. Ideally, you should have access to a car or be willing to use motorbike taxis when staying with us. We do not have a lift on this property, and you will have to use stairs to reach your rooms. Also, note that we are connected to the fibre via a last mile wireless link, this means that we do have internet, but I would recommend taking an Airtel Sim card if you need urgent work done. It will cost you less than a dollar for a day. You can get them on the way from the airport to our place or at any Airtel centre. We find Airtel to be more reliable for the internet than MTN, but MTN is also good especially if you get the 4G packs. We would have given Sim cards as part of the room, but the law here does not permit us to do that and mandates it being registered in the name of the person using it. While this does not mean that our internet is terrible, it is just that we understand how vital the internet can be to some people and we do not want to mislead you by saying our internet is excellent. We have a cleaning team that we have hired from the local community. We have trained them over the period they have been working with us. We are proud to be employing as many people from the local community as possible. If you feel there is a need for improvement in any segment, feel free to talk to us, we are always looking for ideas and suggestions. This apartment does not have a kitchen; however, it comes with a fridge and microwave. Guests should adhere to all Covid related rules set by the Government of Rwanda. This includes producing test results as per current directives.
