Nicely decorated private room near Lagoon Beach

Our house is conveniently located near the beaches Lagoon Beach and Milnerton Lighthouse in the suburb Milnerton, the nearest on the West Coast to Cape Town City Centre. The drive by either your car, the reliable MyCitiBus or with popular UBER takes no longer than 15 min. The beach is in walking distance and in the evenings you can enjoy a beautiful sunset with a cold drink in your hands and good people around you and the breathtaking view onto Table Mountain. Whether you arrive alone or as a couple our private room with ensuite bathroom is the ideal accommodation option. Privacy is guaranteed. The room is part of our annex and located in the front garden in close proximity to our private parking area. Our covered terrace invites to an open-air breakfast in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. For the braai/barbecue enthusiasts we have a braai/barbecue, too. Please make use of our well-equipped communal kitchen for storing your food in one of the 2 fridges or in one of the storage shelves and for the preparation of all your meals. We offer free high speed Wi-Fi throughout the premises. We also invite you to play a game of sticks at our pool table in our comfy communal lounge in the main house or if you just want refreshment after a hard day full of activities feel free to take a swim in our clean pool in the garden. We have a washing machine installed next to our washing line in the back garden which may be used at an additional small cost as well. we have one load washing liquid balls available. If you are travelling by car you can park safely on the property behind an automatic gate. And don’t mind if not, we offer airport transport at an affordable additional cost. Besides, if you are a pet lover our two lovely dogs Umbo and Ocean and as well as our cats Molly and Dexter will be there for a cuddle! ;-) Travellers often describe our place as a homecoming and we pride ourselves that our guests arrive as visitors and leave as friends! These include the communal lounge, communal kitchen and terrace as well as the swimming pool. The cottage next to the parking area is in private use and may not be entered. I'm living on the same premises. I'm happy to give tips in and around Cape Town. I will gladly assist with restaurant bookings, day trips, car rental, weather forecast etc. Milnerton is a suburb of Cape Town situated on the Atlantic Ocean coast 11 kilometres to the north of the city's centre. One of the most identifiable features of Milnerton is its lagoon, formed where the Diep River enters the sea, with palm trees adorning the lagoon banks. I live for more than 17 years in Milnerton and love the easy access into all directions in and around Cape Town. Table Mountain is only a 14km drive away, the famous Waterfront just a 9km distance and the Cape Town Airport is 18km away. The best for me is the proximity to the beach! I take a walk each and every day along Milnerton Beach and until today the majestic appearance of THE Mountain as well as all the spectacular sunsets are worth every minute I spend in this beautiful part of the world! The MyCiti Bus service is since its opening in 2011 a very popular and reliable way of public transport in Cape Town. The Lagoon Beach bus station is only a 700m walk away and makes the way to the City Centre stress and traffic jam free. The bus is using its own dedicated lane. There are three more guest units part of the same premises. However, this particular unit is part of the annex in the front garden.
