Summary: This is a charming barn conversion complete with private swimming pool. It has been furnished in a traditional Tuscan style with exposed beams and wooden floors and can accommodate 6 people. The Space: On the ground floor of the villa there is a dining area with a kitchenette and a large living area with a double sofa bed. The patio can be accessed from this living area. The lower floor can be accessed either from the inside or the outside. It has a large double bedroom with a further double sofa bed and a bathroom with a shower. It is set in a large fenced garden and has a private swimming pool which measures 10x5 metres with a minimum depth of 1.2 metres. There is also a furnished outdoor area and a barbecue. Parking is available on the premises. The pool is open from 1 May to end September each year. When applicable, heating is charged at 10 euros per day. Guest Access: A local property manager lives nearby should guests need any assistance during their stay. The Neighborhood: The house is located 1 kilometres away from San Giovanni Valderno, where there is a train station. The Chianti Classico region (Gaiole) is reached within a 10 minute drive of the villa whilst some of the larger Tuscan towns are also easily accessible including Florence and Arezzo which are both 37 km away, Siena (57 km), San Gimignano (90 km) and Cortona (77 km). Getting Around: A car is recommended. The nearest train station is 1 km away. Interaction with Guests: The owners live next to the villa in the original farmhouse and are available to prepare traditional Tuscan meals if required, with prior booking.
