Very friendly and light-filled apartment in the historic center of Tomar, with a large terrace with views of the Castle, to enjoy a wonderful evening and relaxing unforgettable dinners, while exploring all that Tomar has to offer! The apartment is right in the historic center of Tomar and is completely renovated and well decorated. It has a modern and fully equipped kitchen and a large and comfortable bedroom with a double bed and an extra single bed. The living room also has a sofa bed for two more people. The apartment is ideal for taking advantage of Tomar: it has all the most emblematic tourist spots right "next to the door" or a short walk away. It is perfect for business trips, romantic weekends or for a family adventure in the Center of Portugal. Tomar is a beautiful city with a past full of history, linked to the very birth of Portugal's nationality. It was created by the Knights Templar, one of the most emblematic Monastic Orders of Cavalry, which emerged to defend pilgrims in the Holy Land and which acquired enormous power in the Middle Ages. The legends about the fate of these Knights and the mysterious disappearance of their treasure and naval fleet continue to enchant Tomar and all those who pass by. Tomar has an excellent location, 1: 20h from Lisbon (138 km, being 120 km on the highway) and almost the same as Porto. It is still located 20 min. the Sanctuary of Fátima and almost the same as the Golegã (Horse Fair). There is a train station and central bus station on the same avenue, 10 minutes walk from the apartment, which connects Tomar to Lisbon directly and the entire country.
