Attached to the villa is a cottage that sleeps two adults and two children and has its own separate kitchen. A walk-in fridge and well-stocked Guest Pantry laden with delicious home-spun treats (included in the rate) are perfect for midnight feasts. Coffee-lovers breathe a collective sigh of relief at the sight of the Jura one-touch coffee machine. The indoor gas BBQ kitchen and second butler’s kitchen ensures that your plans of tucking into a delicious South African ‘braai’ are weatherproof. Outdoor Facilities Venture down the hidden path for direct access to Long Beach - an adventure lover's dream. Swim, paddle, walk, run, surf, paraglide and horse ride. Return to the comfort of the villa and the gorgeous views extending over the Atlantic Ocean. Rinse off the sugary sand in the outdoor shower before taking a dip in the sparkling swimming pool, hugged by the sun-drenched wraparound wooden deck. EN SUITE BEDROOMS Cape Beach Villa's 5 guest rooms are named after their unique perspective of the local landmarks and famous surf breaks near the villa. These are found within the 180-degree vantage each room enjoys. Each en-suite bedroom is appointed with air-conditioning (with heating and cooling functionality), pure cotton linen, hairdryer and thoughtfully selected bathroom amenities. Subtle touches of hand-embroidered curtains, select South African art and hand-picked decor items complement the restful palette, delivering a richly layered, relaxing hospitality experience. ROOM 1: KAKAPO The master suite enjoys the ultimate privacy and is the only room on the upstairs level of the villa. It is named after the Kakapo shipwreck which is found halfway down the six-kilometre beach. The en-suite bathroom features a shower and free-standing bath. The awe-inspiring views may be fully appreciated when the doors to the generous balcony are stacked right the way back, letting in the calming sounds of the ocean’s ebb and flow below. ROOM 2: SLANGKOP This charming room found just off the main living area is named after the undulating serpentine mountain that dominates the landscape on the opposite side of the bay. Slangkop ('snakehead' in Afrikaans) is the name of the lighthouse that stands sentry over the village of Kommetjie. The room is rounded off beautifully with an en-suite shower room. ROOM 3: DUNES Named after one of Cape Town's best wave breaks celebrated for its perfect 'A-frame' barrels that have surfers making a daily arduous two-mile round trip to enjoy. Aptly named after the sand dunes that jut out onto the beach in front of the wave and marks the start of one of the Capes most diverse bird sanctuaries. This comfortable room is rounded off with an en-suite bathroom with a shower. ROOM 4: CAPTAIN 'HOEKS' CABIN The en-suite children's room swops its sea view for enchantment. So-named for the corner (or 'hoek') that marks the start of secret Milkwood path down to the beach, this wondrous room accommodates up to 6 children; perfect for slumber parties (or stay-awakes)! It comes with its own Captain ‘Hoek’ treasure map for inquisitive children to explore. Children are likely to scramble up the bunk-beds to get an eye full of the quirky jellyfish inspired light fitting. Come rain or shine, there are endless hours of fun in store for all ages. The vast selection of excellent quality toys and games are sure to evoke squeals of delight. ROOM 5: CHAPMANS COTTAGE Adjacent to the main villa is the separate, split-level cottage inspired by nearby Chapmans Peak. Upstairs is the master suite replete with en-suite bathroom with shower. Here, wake up to the beautiful sea and mountain views owed to its namesake. Downstairs, a neat kitchenette and a living area with sofa bed open directly onto the garden, offering the option of seclusion from the main house. The cottage is ideal for a couple seeking privacy or, for fun-loving families. The guests have access to the whole house, cottage and full garden area. You will also enjoy direct access to the beach. Sharon, our property manager, will be happy to welcome you but also answer any questions you may have during your stay. Noordhoek is a unique place on Earth. Due to the wealth of experiences right on their doorstep, locals rarely find the need to leave this valley of plenty. Just 400 meters from Cape Beach Villa are three of Noordhoek’s ten restaurants and, part of the reason Noordhoek is recognised as a bona fide food hub of Cape Town. Choose between fine dining at the Food Barn run by one of Africa’s top chefs. Choose from sushi, tapas, local Italian or Afrofusion restaurants. Everyday café & pub-style eateries abound. There are also two excellent food markets held each week. Like a tipple? Noordhoek also boasts a top vineyard Cape Point Vineyard regarded as having one of the best views and Savignon Blancs of any vineyard in South Africa. Aegir Project Brewery just up the road from Cape Beach Villa is an underground brewery leading the way in Cape Town's craft beer revolution. If live music is your thing, Café Roux attracts South Africa’s top music acts weekly. Noordhoek is easier with a rental car but you can also use public transportation. There is bus stop at 100M.
