Studio style Room in Domaine de l'île

Your stay will be in a large room in an imposing town house, surrounded by nature. On a virtual island the house is sandwiched between the river on one side and the mill stream on the other. The gentle sound of water babbling with help you slide off to sleep. All this and yet located just off the main square in the town centre, where you can find a variety of bars, shops and restaurants. Easy free parking, and Dijon is only 15min by Car, or 25min by Train. The room is located off the galleried staircase on the first floor. Double bay north facing doors open onto the balcony, with views over the front garden, bridge, with excellent views of the river. Foldaway beds for children are available on request. There is communal access to most areas of the house, and all of the grounds. This includes the kitchen area, the utility room, the sitting room, and the dining room. All cooking and cleaning appliances are made available for the duration of you stay. Outside there are terraced areas and a large garden, and for the more adventurous a crossing over the mill gates for a short walk round the island. Depending on the time of year, my partner and I normally stay in the house too, but we sometimes stay in our appartment in Dijon. I work in the outbuilding so am often around and about. Is-sur-Tille is the main town in the northern region of the Cote d'Or, above Dijon, and serves a large rural area, which means that it has all the necessary services normally associated with a much larger town.
