Cosy traditional village home.

Nestled in the Forez mountain range, our charming rustic home offers, calm and comfort. Set in the Livradois Forez Regional Park surrounded by beautiful woodland and rivers, the village of Sauvessanges provides easy access to Le Puy and St Etienne. Our charming home more than comfortably sleeps two, but can accomodate four. We are surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty, off the beaten track, it affords access to a variety of activities within the regional park. Mediaeval villages, waterfalls, gorges, dormant volcanoes plus a variety of wildlife waiting to be discovered via the numerous walking trails in the area. At a distance of 8km Usson en Forez offers a lake with various activities. At a similar distance the old market town of Craponne provides a typical French market each Saturday. On Tesdays guests must arrive before 6 pm or after 10 pm and on Sunday after 1 pm. One private bedroom, bathroom and sitting room which doubles as second bedroom, by simply transforming the comfortable clic- clac sofa. Private area to make hot drinks. Use of a microwave and fridge . Option to have breakfast provided for a charge of €5 per person, please let me know in advance if you require breakfast, payment is taken on arrival. Thank you. Our village is a haven from city life where you move to the rhythm of nature, and breathe. To fully appreciate the area your own transport is essential, and parking is not a problem. If you are coming from an airport hiring a vehicle is a must. Bikes and motorbikes are an ideal way to appreciate our scenic mountain roads. English and French are spoken fluently in our home.
