Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach. Overlooking the beach at Verona Sands, Chambls shack keeps watch over all. Nestled at the edge of the reserve in a seaside village. Walk the track to Charlotte’s cove jetty or bring the kayaks and fishing rod and enjoy the water. 20 minutes to Cygnet. 1 hour from Hobart The shack is exclusively yours during your stay. 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms are offered for your use. Please only use the rooms reserved for your stay otherwise additional charges apply. Our beautiful vintage caravan ‘Penny’ is on site but not for guest use we’re Sorry to say I’m always available by phone 20 minute drive to popular township of Cygnet. Plenty of cafes and restaurants, hotels and supermarkets located here. Verona itself has no shops. It has the beach and the waves and that’s always enough Your own transport is recommended. Hot tip: If you have push bikes it’s a lovely area to cycle Because Chambls is an authentic little shack and is not as young as she used to be, she may need you to let us know if anything needs attention . She doesn’t pretend to be perfect but she’s perfectly wonderful. We have limited tank water so please use it carefully.
