Cosy & peaceful cabin off the grid
A great place for people who could use some peace and quiet to recharge their batteries and get some rest from their otherwise busy lifestyles. Our summer home is one of the oldest houses in Mislinja valley, situated 10 km from the nearest settlement, and offers a unique experience of living off the grid at an altitude of 1000 m. It is perfect for adventurists, nature addicts, hikers and families. It is close to many sights and scenic hiking trails. The summer house is in an area of the grid. There is no internet signal and no TV so it is perfect for people who want to relax and get a rest from their busy daily lives. That said, electricity can be generated by a gasoline generator. There are all the necessities for cooking, sleeping, and outdoor fun, such as: - a bb gun; - bows and arrows; - volleyball/badminton pitch; - a place for a campfire; - other fun outdoor games I don't know how to explain in English :) - ... Prior to your stay, I will meet you in Mislinja and show you to the property. Nearby tourist attractions: - Slovenj Gradec city; - Rogla resort; - Velenje lake (great for families); - ... The road from Mislinja is mostly unpaved but is well maintained and adequate for all types of cars and RVs. In winter snow tires and tire chains are required. Drive 5 more km and you will get to a parking space from where you can hike to Rogla, which is one of Slovenia's biggest ski resorts in winter and a great starting point for hikers and mountain bikers in the spring, summer and autumn. Descend to Mislinja and from there to Slovenj Gradec which is the center of Koroška region and together with its surroundings home to a lot of tourist attractions. Tourist tax: - 1.5 €/person/day (persons over 18 years of age) - 0,75 €/person/day (persons from 7 to 18 years of age) The tourist tax has to be paid in cash upon arrival.
