On the ground floor there is a small garden with room for a car, bbq and an external shower, kitchen with living room, double sofa bed and a bathroom. On the 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Into one bedroom there is a baby's bed . Stairs are not suitable for old people and kids have to be watched carefully. I can house comfortably 5 adults and one kid. One booster chair is available. Home is ten minutes walking from the sea. You will have a ping pong table, a SUP that you can take to the sea, 4 bicycles, a BBQ equipped with everything, an umbrella with two beaches and beach towels. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, with a bathroom and a shower. In the bedroom 2 you have a double bed, a desk and a single bed, it's comfortable for three adults. In Bedroom 1 you have a double bed and a baby's bed if needed. The top of the stairs has a safety gate for kids. At the bottom of the stairs there is a door, keep it closed for kid's safety. All the windows have a mosquito net. On the ground floor there are a living room with a kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a double sofa bed and a table with chairs, radio and television. The porch is cozy and well-lit, with a table and chairs for dining and relaxing. You have everything you need for cooking (don't forget you're in Italy) including oil, salt, spices, the kettle and so on. Breakfast is included (milk, tea, coffee, biscuits and brioches). In the garden there is a barbeque pit with everything you need for cooking, charcoal included. The whole house is at your disposal. There are four bicycles available, a ping pong table and a brand new SUP. Most likely I will not be on holiday but my house is next to yours and I will be available if you need anything. If you are interested in visiting Rome with a professional guide, I can suggest you to speak with Alessandra, a friend of mine. She can arrange personal tour, even if if you have children. The good season starts on april and finishes in october. May and june are the months that I really suggest you, the temperature is mild and the days are really long. The mild climate will let you to visit the city of Rome more comfortably. September and october are good too, but the days are shorter. In low seasons maybe the low prices of the house could be attractive if you want visit Rome and spend some days in relax. The house is on the south coast of Rome, a ten minutes walk away from the beach. The center of Torvaianica is 4 km southward, along the coast, there are some good places where to go out for dinner. The village is nothing special except the "fisherman's village". I suggest you to go there in the late afternoon before the sunset, for an aperitif and then for dining. The legend says that Enea landed on these shores after the defeat of Troy, so I have to mention you the innovative museum "Lavinium" where the story of Enea is narrated in the museum hall number 3. In the inland there are some attractions like the "Zoomarine", the "Shopping Village Castel Romano", "Cinecittà World". Ostia, Rome's sea side, is 10 km northward. Ostia's pedestrian area is nice and full of good and cheap restaurants. Along the beach there are clubs, restaurants and places where to drink. I suggest you to visit Ancient Ostia Excavations, the site most similar to Pompeii that exists. The old village "Ostia Antica" is nice, I suggest that you dine there after your visit to the ruins. The historic center of Rome is about 35 km away (35 minutes by car, traffic allowing). The area where my house is, is quiet during the week but on weekends there is a lot of traffic, due to the proximity to Rome. Sometimes, late in the morning, you might hear the sound of military fighter aircraft. The noise doesen't last long but the show would be worth. The beach is a ten minutes walk away from the house. You can choose among four nice kiosks where you can drink and eat: Cuba Libre, Zion, Paloma and Mecs Village. I suggest you to take a look to a map to check out the photos and the distance from home - consider that some of them are open for dinner. There is also "The Marine Village", the nearest sea entrance. It's a sport and beach resort. The village has a large parking lot, a restaurant, an indoor and outdoor bar covering an area with gardens and dunes, overlooking the sea. Marine Village is quite expensive and the beach is really short but you can use the entrance to go to free beaches, the kiosks are definitely better! If you arrive from Fiumicino airport, I recommend to rent a car, if you book in advance, prices are really convenient, I guess between 80/100 euros for week. If you don't like driving I can book for you a car with a driver, he will wait for you at the air terminal (price for 2 people 40/45 euros). Alternatively you can take the Leonardo Express train from Fiumicino airport, with 14 euros it takes you to Roma Termini metro station. From the "Roma Termini" metro station you can go by to the "Laurentina" metro station and from there a Cotral bus that takes you 200 meters from my house. For timetables and prices you can download the BusCotral app for your smartphone or visit the Cotral site, starting from "Roma Laurentina (Metro B) ", arrival at "Campo Ascolano (Pomezia) " and vice versa, it takes 40 to 45 minutes. In any case it is better to have a car. Over the weekend, pay attention to the traffic coming and going from Rome. If you have a car and you want to visit the surroundings your life will be easier. I joined the Airbnb special cleaning program, for this reason, due to the time required to ALWAYS perform cleaning and disinfection of the rooms after each stay, the night before and after each stay will not be bookable, in order to have enough time to follow the protocol completely.
