Seddon/Yarraville: stay in our lovely period home

Our house in the heart of Seddon is cool in summer, but cosy in winter with many great nooks to hang out with a good book or sharing a wine or watch latest movies or documentaries on Netflix. Two large double bedrooms and great comfy queen beds, you will enjoy a good night sleep. We're close Seddon Station and Seddon & Yarraville for great cafes, bars and restaurants. Modern, renovated with private courtyard & traditional front veranda, 6km from CBD of Melbourne. Min stay two weeks. It's located in the heart of Seddon and walking distance to Seddon, Yarraville's great food, wine & beer culture with cafés, bars, restaurants very close by. A ten minute walk to the Yarraville village provides access to local supermarkets, delicatessens, local butchers and produce. A real feature for all visitors is the magnificent Art Deco Sun Theatre that is an experience in itself. Two local train stations will have you in the CBD of Melbourne in 15 minutes. Melbourne city is famous for its architecture, gardens and renowned for major sporting events, the arts, theatre and live music scene. Central China Town is exciting and great food available. If you're the energetic type, our mountain bike will take you into the city in no time and this trail connects you to a network of bike trails Melbourne is renowned for. If the beach is more your scene, beautiful Williamstown beach is a 15 minute train ride from Seddon and the Williamstown area is steeped in maritime history with plenty of things to enjoy locally. Seddon is a great place and local to everything! My cosy place give guests the entire house includes 2 double bedrooms, full kitchen plus indoor-outdoor alfresco dining with bbq. Heating/cooling with cable TV and wifi available MYKI cards complimentary to guests upon arrival to use the public transport network. Two mountain bike available to get about easily and enjoy the trails along the Maribyrnong & Yarra rivers in heart of Melbourne. Bruce & myself are friendly guys but we understand people's privacy. You can have as much or as little interaction as you'd like. I'm available on my mobile or via email to answer any questions of course. Seddon is a very local, safe, friendly neighbourhood with great food and a great cafe/coffee scene. Close to public transport with either Seddon or Footscray stations are a five minute walk from home. The Melbourne bus network is very local also as an alternative to the train. A taxi fair into Melbourne's CBD will cost around $25 and plenty of cabs available. Two mountain bikes available to connect you Melbourne's bicycle network. The unit downstairs is a self-contained double room with ensuite & small kitchenette is separate to house but could be available. It is air conditioned and has cable TV.
