"Aspro" Stone Mansion in the best area of Lefkada!

If you want to experience Lefkada’s real beauty, you will not just stay anywhere on the island! There is a wonderful place to the northwest side of the island with the magical beaches, that not many know they should choose for their vacations… The "highland" of Lefkada, is a place of natural beauty, evergreen landscapes, picturesque villages, amazing cuisine, loads of history and culture…and all of that, just 3 & 5 km from the most wonderful beaches north west, like Agios Nikitas & Pefkoulia. Ideally located on the main road that makes the round of the island and yet very tranquil in a 4 acres Estate with an organic olive grove, big gardens and yards, this unique Mansion and our 2 more stone houses in the same lot in Asprogerakata village, are perfect samples of the local architecture. Totally renovated from ground, the house combines all amenities and simple luxury, with the beauty and the importance of a 200 years old cobblestone house. "Aspro" is a historic two storey mansion. The independent house for our guests, is the first floor with the attic (100 sq.m and 60 sq.metres each) and can accommodate 8 guests when the other two-storey stone house, in the next connecting garden, consists of two apartments of 50 square metres, for 3 & 2 guests each. So if you are a big family or group of friends, this is an ideal accommodation solution! Right next to our Estate with the olive grove and the beautiful gardens, is our picturesque village’s square with the two huge centenarian plane trees that our grand-grandfather planted and shade the local little taverns! The house and the yards are at your disposal, as well as the private parkings for your cars. During July or August we will use the ground floor of the Mansion which is our holiday house. In this way we will be discreetly at your disposal to share the secrets and myths of the island, if you want! Asprogerakata village (“white-falcons place” in Greek), is among the most significant villages of Lefkada island, as the area from the ancient years until today, has been famous for its crystal water springs from where 7 other villages used to carry water back home. This natural gift, has created an area of amazing beauty. Everything you need is in walking distance and you will explore the best parts of the island having a wonderful location and house as your base! Lefkada town is just 9 km away, as far as Nikiana town is laso located. In both sites you will find places of interest and vivid night life. But you don't have to go that far, when Agios Nikitas beach, has really beautiful bars if you feel like going somewhere close to your house for a drink or two! All available means pass by Asprogerakata. So even if you decide not to take the car one day, you can take the local bus to explore other villages!
