Farm house with Aga, swimming pool & tennis court

Stunning Grade II* Listed farm house, set within 37 acres of land in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just 7 miles from the World Heritage city of Bath. The private tree lined driveway leads to the mediaeval house. It's surrounded by beautiful stone barns, fields and is completely private. Relax by the heated swimming pool, play tennis, croquet, Boules or enjoy the full sized American pool table. Clay pigeon shooting is also available on site by prior arrangement and at additional cost. Minimum stay over Christmas and New year is 3 nights. The rest of the year is a minimum 2 night stay. The maximum number in the house is 12, but there is an annex next door which sleeps up to 4. The owner lives part time on site on the farm with her pets. There is a part time groundsman and Gardner who will be at the property periodically. The pool is available from April until October and is unfenced. Please be aware that anyone under 18 must be supervised. No parties without prior agreement with host. No men only or stag parties, sorry. The owner occasionally stays on the farm and is available if required but respects guest privacy. The farm house is ideally placed for the Georgian City of Bath (7 miles) Bristol (18 miles), Bradford on Avon and the Kennet and Avon Canal (4 miles) Longlete and Centre Parks (11 miles), Wookey Hole (21 miles), Cheddar Gorge (25 miles) and Stonehenge (27 miles). Car required. Bath Spa station 7 miles, Bradford on Avon Station 4 miles, Freshford Station 3 miles, Trowbridge Station 4 miles. Bus stop at Norton St Philip 1.5 miles. The beautiful kitchen has an Aga. The swimming pool is open from April to October. Tennis court, Boules, Croquet, American Pool table & table tennis available all year.
