The apartment (30m2 + 8m2) is quiet and centrally located. Within walking distance or just a few bus stops away are the Parsenn cablecar, cross-country skiing tracks, hiking trails, shops, restaurants, bowling alley, bars as well as the Congress Center. You won’t need your car during your stay due to the convenient location of the house. The charges for the Davos guest card (visitor's tax) and the underground carpark must be paid extra. Free outdoor parking from May to mid December. Free WiFi. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac, without traffic noise and gets the early morning sun. The large covered balcony is protected from the weather and wind and offers furthermore an outdoor heater, armchairs, deckchairs, blankets and cushions and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. So a pleasant stay is possible in almost any weather and time of day. Bed linen and towels for two people are included in the price. The apartment is very well aired and cleaned every time before the arrival of new guests. All surfaces as well as light switches, door handles, remote controls etc. are additionally disinfected. Bed linen and towels are washed at 90 degrees. The WLAN in the apartment and in the lounge is suitable for normal use. It is not a high-speed WLAN with which huge data downloads and streaming can be made very quickly and at the same time or very large data volumes can be processed. The following is possible: reading, writing, sending emails, small internet researches, watching Youtube movies, etc. It is forbidden to download illegal content. Fully-equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer compartment, microwave, tea kettle, coffeemaker, Nespresso coffee maschine, egg cooker, cheese fondue set, 2 burner plates, toaster, salt, pepper, sugar, condiments, oil and vinegar. Hair-dryer in the bathroom. Nespresso coffee machine in the lounge. Fresh linen, towels and cleaning during your stay are available upon request. Also a baby bed (60x120cm), baby chair or a guest bed (80x185cm) for an older child. Smoking is only allowed on the balcony, the patio or in front of the entrance. Guest tax CHF 5.90 a day/person. This includes the tickets for the local transportation between Klosters, Davos and Filisur. Children up to 12 years are free. Underground parking: CHF 5 per day (summer), CHF 8 per day (winter). In summer, outdoor parking is free. Facilities in the lounge: Free WiFi, Nespresso Coffee maker (we appreciate your contribution), large HD-TV with Blu Ray player, DVDs, and books. Upon request you can borrow a Fondue set. Ski and bicycle storage in a convenient lockable room, where you can also leave ski and hiking boots as well as strollers. In the summer you can also leave your bicycles in the underground car park. The lounge and coffee bar is open 24/7. Other facilities include a laundromat/tumble dryer/iron. Each level of the house has a dedicated cleaning storeroom with cleaning utensils (brooms/vacuum cleaner). You can also deposit recycleable waste paper and cardboard there. Please use the provided chargeable garbage bags and dispose of them in the Molok on our street. Single fee garbage bags are also available from our janitor. The lounge and the restroom on the ground floor are accessible by wheelchair and are available to all residents 24 hours a day. If you prepare a coffee in the lounge with the Nespresso coffee maker, the piggy bank is happy to receive a small donation. Various books and magazines as well as DVDs are available on the shelves. Feel free to add an item the collection. There are glasses and crockery/cutlery in the lounge for you to use. Please bring your own food and drinks. Please wash them after use and put them back. Our caretaker is not your room service. You booked a vacation home, not a hotel. You can turn the lamps in the lounge on and off according to your wishes (except for the two lamps on the buffet with timer). You can watch TV, listen to the radio, watch a movie or attach your own camera/laptop on the large screen HD TV. There you will also find various tables if you feel like working on your laptop PC. If the weather is fine, you can also sit outside on the terrace. Your key will unlock the door leading out to the patio. A fondue/raclette set for up to 8 people can be provided on request if you want to enjoy a fondue dinner with friends in the lounge. You will get the key from our keysafe in the post room next to the front door of the house. Our house manager will give you the guest cards. She has office hours, so don't hesitate to contact her if you have any questions. The compulsory guest tax for the Davos Klosters Card costs CH 5.90 per day/person. Upon request you can borrow a Fondue set. There's a kindergarden with a small playground opposite our house. The playground can be used when the kindergarten is not busy. The small footpath in front of our house takes you to the Hohe Promenade and many hiking trails. In winter, the path will be the last stretch of an exciting toboganning ride from the Schatzalp. Two bus stops are just a stone's throw away. It takes you just five minutes on foot to get to the Parsenn cablecar. The Davos Dorf train station and the congress center are only two bus stops away. With the Premium Card, local public transport is on the spot from the first night (trips to the side valleys of Dischma, Sertig, Monstein, Davos Wiesen excluded)*, the winter guest programme Inside and individual offers from the summer guest programme Active, such as a cultural-historical tour, are free of charge from the first overnight stay. Premium activities such as wakeboarding will cost ten francs from the 2020 summer season onwards. For events with a limited number of participants, such as a guided tour of the Silberberg show mine, the guest pays a participation fee of five francs. *The side valleys (Dischma, Sertig, Monstein) and Davos Wiesen can be reached with a VBD day ticket for only CHF 10.-. Discounted mountain railways from the first night onwards The Premium Card is particularly attractive for guests who wish to use a mountain railway in the summer season. From the first night onwards they benefit from greatly reduced prices: An adult person pays ten francs for a complete ascent and descent on a single mountain from the Davos Klosters Mountains (Jakobshorn, Parsenn, Gotschna, Rinerhorn, Madrisa). If you would like to use several mountains from the DKM on the same day, you can buy a day ticket for 15 francs. A ticket for Schatzalp is six francs. Children aged six to seventeen pay half each. Children under this age group travel free of charge. Important for early bookers who have booked the apartment months to a year in advance. If you cannot start the trip for valid reasons and cancel the booking at least four weeks before arrival, you will receive a full refund despite strict cancellation conditions. After that only 50% refund until 7 days before. After that only the fees of about CHF 200.- (cleaning, linen sets, care). We appreciate tidy guests. Dispose of your garbage and recyclables properly. Please leave the kitchen clean and tidy. A foldout guest bed allows for a third guest (child). We can provide a portable playard (60 x 120 cm) as well as a child's chair and a baby's change mat.
