La casa di Robi
Dear travelers, lovers of Italy, the mountains, walks and peaceful tranquility, My home is in Pozzale, in the Longiarù district, 2 kilometers from Pieve di Cadore, in the Dolomites. It is a 19th century stone house, which I restored and furnished with traditional furniture. After traveling the world I retired here with Marina, my partner, and I decided to share my home. We look forward to seeing you! Roberto and Marina It is a traditional 19th century stone house, which I have restored and furnished with traditional furniture. My family is from Cadore, so the furniture and home objects tell mountain stories and have seen many generations pass by. I can tell you other mountain stories, if you want to hear me, and Marina, my partner. We have chosen to keep the house in the traditional style. In winter the bathroom is heated by gas while the room, for greater comfort, in addition to gas heating also has a wood stove. Also for the type of house, the entrance and stairwell can be a little less warm than the rest of the rooms The village of Pozzale has remained intact and not very touristic. Many walks start from our house, just behind the wood. You will be spoiled for choice! However, your own vehicle is recommended to reach the starting point of a larger number of paths Given the location of the town of Pozzale, guests are advised to arrive with their own vehicle. Public transport goes up to Pieve di Cadore, and from there you have to go up on foot for 2 km. There is a taxi service from Calalzo station which costs around 12 euros but must be reserved in advance, especially out of season.
