Named one of the North Coast's Top 10 Coolest Airbnb properties (Daily Telegraph, Dec21), The Bach is a beachside holiday home offering guests a luxury escape in the relaxing beachside town of Wooli. Completed mid 2020 this beautifully designed beach house is nestled behind the sand dunes only metres from the beach. The Bach Wooli captures the essence of coastal beach vibe and features high ceilings & beautiful décor. The perfect getaway for couples, close friends or a solitary escape. The large fully equipped kitchen features granite bench tops, European appliances including a dishwasher and fully automatic espresso machine (starter pack of locally roasted beans is provided). The open plan dining and living features a large smart TV and wireless sound system for your entertainment. Large sliding doors open to extend your living area outside, including BBQ, outdoor dining and lounge, and allow ocean breezes to flow through. Enjoy tranquil time lazing on the outdoor furniture and take in the spectacular views of Wooli Beach on the seating provided atop the sand dune (beach and ocean views are only available from the dune). The master bedroom has a king size bed and large ensuite. The 2nd bedroom has a king bed. The 3rd has a king bed (or two single beds on request). All bedrooms are air conditioned, have built-in robes and ceiling fans. The house is powered by the sun and rainwater is used to water the garden and feed the outdoor shower for those refreshing post-swim rinses. Linen and towels are provided. Guests have access to the entire house (except owners storage and garage). We will be available by phone or Airbnb messaging should you need advice or help. Wooli sits on a narrow peninsula surrounded by the pristine Yuraygir National Park, the Wooli Wooli River and the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Fishing is legendary here, especially on the estuary and beaches. Cast a line off the breakwater and you’re almost certain to land a fish. Hire a riverboat to fish the calm waterways. Take to the estuary on a kayak or stand-up paddleboard (hire available). Kangaroos hop on the river banks and yellow-tailed black cockatoos fly above. Keep your eyes open for stingrays and turtles. Oysters and mud crabs are harvested in the river and nothing beats eating these fresh. The Bach is centrally located so walking and cycling are the easiest options - just a few minute stroll to the Cafe, Wooli Bowls Club, Chinese Restaurant, Thai Restaurant, Freshly Shucked Oyster Van (Xmas/NY), Post Office, Tennis Courts etc. While there is direct access to the top of the dune from The Bach, accessing the beach is via a set of steps behind our neighbours house or via a public path (4 houses next door).
