La Breuchotte is nestled in the hills of the Ballon d’Alsace National Park. A place to find yourself and nature. Peace and calm, beautiful walks all on your doorstep. The gite has its own private terrace and we are happy for our guests to enjoy our garden, pond and woods. We live full time and are happy to help with any information that will help you enjoy your holiday. La Breuchotte is an ideal spot for people enjoy walking, peace and calm. There are many beautiful walks from your doorstep, also further afield in the nearby Mille Etangs - Thousand Ponds and also the Vosges Mountains. A cyclists heaven with cycle routes straight from the house, these include some pretty big climbs! Wild swimming in some of the local lakes, there is one within walking distance. Horse riding just a stroll away. Although it feels wonderfully remote the small towns of Val d’Ajol and Faucogney et la Mer are about a 10-15 minute drive and the larger historic town of of Luxeuil les Bains about half an hour. It is essential to have a car as there is no public transport here.
