Bellport's proximity to New York City (1 hr by car; 2 hrs by LIRR train) makes it convenient to the city and an easy drive to Fire Island ferries. The village downtown is easily walkable and bike friendly. Patchogue is very close and has very frequent train service. Taxis from Patchogue to the house are $11.
