Cornfield Lodge

Cornfield lodge is a wood clad mobile home on our farm in the countryside. Sleep four people, enclosed garden.and offers one double bedroom, one twin room. Both bedrooms come fully furnished. The lounge has a wood burner, a comfy sofa (doubles as a sofa bed), small kitchen table with four chairs, there is a TV/DVD. The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob/ electric oven/fridge/microwave. The bathroom has a shower/toilet. Parking, gas and electric included. Spacious garden area bbq/seating area. Cornfield lodge offers, peace, tranquility and space. Please note that it is situated on a working dairy farm, so cows might pass by your window from time to time. Cornfield lodge is compact, but there is a spacious outside enclosed garden area with picnic bench/parasol/deck chairs, fire pit bbq, and under cover rustic seating area with table and chairs. We have Shetland ponies, pygmy goats and chickens that like a stroke! You are welcome to buy free range eggs from the farm during your stay. If you want to see the cows being milked ask farmer Jon. Depending on when you come, there might be lots of calves to help feed. Someone is usually around to answer any questions you might have. We are situated at the foot of GoldHill, made famous by the Hovis ad. Shaftesbury is a lovely, rural market town. There are wonderful, independent shops and cafe's to visit.
