Beautiful, cosy warm ancient farmhouse nestled away in the French countryside. Peaceful surroundings in a picturesque setting allows family and friends to relax fully and enjoy nature away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Lots of outdoor space and a private pond to spend evenings at. Close to Futuroscope, Poitiers centre ville, Chauvigny, Vélo Rail, Valley des singes and many other attractions. This charming space has a vast garden around a huge pond. Outside dining in the summer months is so special beside the pond. A vegetable patch is also part of the grounds where a large amount of fruits and vegetables grow. The house is unique with a grand dining room table, large kitchen area table, open fire for cosy evenings inside the property. Private car parking is provided. Guests can access the main house, garden and pond exclusively. Fishing is permitted in the pond but we ask that you provide your own fishing rods and to throw the fish back into the pond. I am available on the phone for guests at all times. As an events manager, i love to help organising events, parties or simple evenings for everyone to enjoy. I can arrange meals to be brought to La Fermette by a local cook saving you precious time when you could be enjoying the house and gardens. Our lovely tranquil property is nestled at the end of a private road. Opposite the house is a professional hunt so in the hunting season, you can enjoy weekends away shooting and we can arrange for your caught game to be prepared for your evening meal. During summer, we can arrange for picnics to be brought to you to enjoy on the lawn. Close to Poitiers centre ville, the medieval town of Chauvigny and Futuroscope, there is lots to do during the summer days. We have a full list of local amenities listed in the house for when you arrive. It’s best to get around by car. We can arrange for a taxi to collect you from the airport or train station if you dont plan on leaving during your stay. The local boulangerie is 3km away however so having a car does help. To fully enjoy this experience, arrive to our charming house knowing that you are secluded amongst nature and calmness. Enjoy the walks, fishing and hunting on your doorstep!
