Newly converted annexe near beautiful Cambridge

The apartment is in a village conveniently close to the beautiful city of Cambridge. It is positioned to the front of the owner's bungalow up a quiet private road . It is self-contained and fitted out to a very high standard to provide everything you need for a great stay. The spacious apartment has been recently converted so everything is fresh and modern. It has its own off-road parking space and a small courtyard . The apartment has been specifically designed to provide a smart yet comfortable home for visitors. The main room consists of the kitchen, dining and lounge areas and through the hall is a bedroom and shower room. The kitchen is modern and well-stocked with a fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave, hob and oven. The dining area includes a small work station with a USB port. The lounge area has comfortable seating, including a sofa bed (suitable for one adult or two children) and a television. The bedroom has a king size bed and the separate bathroom has a large shower. It has gas central heating and Wifi. A key safe is provided so you can let yourself in. We live close to the apartment but you will have complete privacy unless you need us. Hardwick is a quintessentially English village complete with a church and pub yet conveniently close to Cambridge and the main roads and motorways that feed into the city. There are plenty of countryside walks nearby and it's surrounded by other villages which also offer pubs and places of interest. Just down the road is Madingley Hall and The American Cemetery. Our local pub, The Blue Lion, is a short stroll away and offers fantastic food. Cambridge is a university city well known for its colleges, amazing architecture, punting on the Cam, museums, art galleries, churches and The Botanical Gardens. It has a daily market, several theatres, cinemas and pubs and restaurants galore. A five minute walk takes you to the nearest bus stop. The Citi 4 service runs every 20 minutes and is a 15 minute ride into the city. A ten minute drive takes you to the Park and Ride, parking is free and the buses run every ten minutes. Parking in Cambridge is expensive and difficult to find so either of these options is better than trying to drive into the city. Hardwick is well situated to visit other nearby market towns like St Ives, St Neots, Newmarket and Ely. The apartment is located on a private road which has a couple of speed bumps. It is completely accessible to all vehicles except extremely low slung sports cars so leave the Ferrari at home! Please park on the drive close to the apartment Please note the sofa bed is quite small and is suitable for two small children or one adult. Long stay guests will receive clean towels once a week and clean bed linen every two weeks. The apartment will also be serviced for you every two weeks free of charge to ensure high standards are maintained, this is non-negotiable.
