And i will prepare for all tenants the best chocolate mousse they've ever eaten :) Prepotto (Praprot in Slovenian) is one of the smallest and smartest charming villages of the municipality of Duino, just a few kilometers from the sea and a few from the Slovenian border. A special feature is that, despite being more than a village, is known internationally thanks to food and wine of high quality productions: 4 producers of fine wines and award-winning, 4 characteristics osmizze (a sort of pop-up wine bar) and a dairy that produces fantastic cheeses including the famous cheese cave (Jamar). During your staying there will be some food and wine! For your cultural tours you can visit Trieste (less than 20 km), Udine (60 km), Venice (120 km), Ljubljana (100 km), the caves of Pustumja (50 km). A 5-minute drive there is Sistiana, where you can choose the type of holiday to be spent to the sea side: superchic PortoPiccolo, quiet and family in the beautiful beach facilities or wild and pristine in the Costa dei Barbari (FKK). The village is the ideal starting point for a variety of bike rides (city and by mountain bike) or trekking on several marked hiking trails. Some caractheristic destinations and nearby: Karst House in Monrupino, Cave Giant Cave Village, Sanctuary of Monte Grisa Prosecco, Footpath Rilke and Duino Castle, the village of Stanjel (Slovenian Karst), Monte Ermada (first world war), botanical garden Carsiana in Sgonico. The house is equipped with every comfort. Fully equipped kitchen: dishes, pots, oven, microwave, kettle, juicer and a thousand other things and of course the dishwasher.
