Lovely 2 bedroom apartment 20 min from Monaco
Our entirely refurbished apartment is located in the heart of a beautiful medieval village, known for its breathtaking view of the French Riviera that guests can enjoy from our balcony, natural parks and friendly locals. Only 20 minutes from Monaco and 35 from Nice, it is the perfect compromise between the buzzing coast and quiet mountain holidays. Active people will fall in love with its many walking paths and world famous Road Cycling and Mountain Biking trails as well as its Via-Ferrata. The apartment is located in a 700 years old building with only one other apartment. It is made of two floors, one being the living room and open kitchen and the other made of the bathroom and two bedrooms. It has a 3 sqm balcony that features breathtaking views of the mountain and on the coast line up to Antibes, Cannes and St Tropez. The house is in the heart of the village which is entirely pedestrian, therefore cars need to be parked around the village, but every parking is within 5 minutes walking distance from the house. Guests have access to the whole place as owners don't live there. Marina is in charge of guest services, she will welcome you, show you around and is available in case you have any issues or questions. It is the perfect base camp for either beach holidays at better prices than the coast rents, or for active nature holidays. The village is known for its Mountain biking trails (home of two downhill World Champs) , Road cycling (Col de Madone is 5km away), its Via Ferrata and many walking paths. The village is increbibly quiet due to the fact that it is pedestrian, it is known for its great climate in the summer as it gets a bit fresher at night which makes sleep more enjoyable than on the coast. The village features three restaurants and one bakery. Renting a car would be advised as there are few buses that go down to the coast. The village is located 17km from Monaco, 25 from Nice and about 40 minutes drive from the Airport. You will need a car as there is only a few buses that go down to the cities every day. Access to house's main floor is through stairs, which can make it unsuitable for people in wheelchairs. The kitchen is fully equipped, we offer complementary tea, coffee and all basics such as olive oil or Nutella (absolutely necessary on holidays!) There is a TV in case you wish to watch movies on DVD, or play the console, there is no actual TV channels connection. We also have a Bluetooth loudspeaker should you want to listen to your music while relaxing.
